NOTE
The following procedures describe a typical tee and gate valve assembly.
Different combinations of male and female coupling halves maybe installed
on the tee. Repair of other tee and gate valve assemblies is similar.
a. Removal. Disconnect tee and gate valve from water system (refer to para. 2.10 to disconnect cou-
plings).
b. Repair. Refer to paragraph 4.15 for repair of tee assembly. Refer to para. 4.24 for repair of 4-inch
gate valve.
C. Installation. Connect tee and gate valve assembly to water system (refer to para. 2.10 to connect cou-
plings).
