SCOPE.This appendix lists components of end item and basic issue items for the Model WSDS810 and Model 800KWSDS 800KWater Storage and Distribution Systems to help you inventory items required for safe and efficient operation.C-2. GENERAL.The Components of End Item and Basic Issue Items List are divided into the following sections:a.SectionII.ComponentsofEndItem. This listing is for informational purposes only, and is not authority torequisition replacements. These items are part of the end item, but are removed and separately packaged fortransportation or shipment. As part of the end item, these items must be with the end item whenever it is issuedor transferred between property accounts. Illustrations are furnished to assist you in identifying the items.b.SectionIII.BasicIssueItems. These are the minimum essential items required to place the 800K WaterStorage and Distribution System in operation, to operate it, and to perform emergency repairs. Althoughshipped separately packaged, BII must be with the distribution system during operation and whenever it istransferred between property accounts. The illustrations will assist you with hard-to-identify items. This manualis your authority to request/requisition replacement BII, based on TOE/MTOE authorization of the end item.C-3. EXPLANATION OF COLUMNS.The following provides an explanation of columns found in the tabular listing:a.Column(1)-IllustrationNumber(IllusNumber). This column indicates the number of the illustration in whichthe item is shown..b.Column(2)-NationalStockNumber. Indicates the national stock number assigned to the item and will be usedfor requisitioning purposes.c.Column(3)-DescriptionandUsableOnCode. Indicated the Federal item name and, if required, a minimumdescription to identify and locate the item. The last line for each item indicates the CAGE (in parentheses)followed by a part number. If the item you need is not the same for different models of the equipment, a usableon code will appear on the right side of the description column on the same line as the part number. Thesecodes are identified below:CODEUSEDONFFRModel WSDS810FKGModel 800KWSDSd.Column(4)-UnitofMeasure(U/M). Indicates the measure used in performing the actualoperational/maintenance function. This measure is expressed by a two-character alphabetical abbreviation(e.g., ea., in., pr.).e.Column(5)-QuantityRequired(QtyRqd).
