This number is assigned to the entry in the listing and is referenced in the taskInitial Setup instructions to identify the material, e g., "Dry-cleaning solvent (App E)."b.Column2-Category. This column identified the lowest category of maintenance that requires the listeditem:C - Operator/Crew0 - Unit MaintenanceF - Direct Support MaintenanceG - General Support Maintenancec.Column3-NationalStockNumber. This is the national stock number assigned to the item; use it torequest or requisition the items.d.Column4-Description. Indicates the federal item name and, if required, a description to identify theitem. The last line for each item indicates the part number followed by the Commercial And Government Entity (CAGE)Code for Manufacturer in parentheses, if applicable.e.Column5-UnitofMeasure(U/M). Indicates the measure used in performing the actual maintenancefunction. This measure is expressed by a two character alphabetical abbreviation (e.g. ea., in, pr). If the unit of measurediffers from the rest of the issue, requisition the lowest unit of issue that will satisfy your requirements.E-1
