Check both ends of the drum for: Binding swivel plate (1). Loose or missing screws (2) in bearing plate (3) and closure ring (4). Leaks at or around bearing plate (3) and closure ring Check whether drum assembly is misshapen or distorted, indicating damaged cable assemblies. Equipment is Not Ready/ Available If: Swivel plate (1) is binding or if swivel plate lug (5) for tow bar attachment is damaged. Leaks are dis- covered. Drum assembly is misshapen or distorted. 2-5
