NOTE
A valve seat puller is provided in mud pump tool set.
e.
Insert seat puller in valve seat (10) so that the puller shoulders are behind valve seat. Tighten the nut on puller,
slowly, until valve seat is disengaged. Lift valve seat (10) from fluid cylinder with puller.
NOTE
Before a new seat is installed, clean both the seat and hole in cylinder thoroughly to remove
any abrasive particles.
f.
Position new seat (10) in fluid cylinder then, using a block of wood and hammer, carefully tap the seat into place.
