1.
Assure that accelerator linkage is adjusted properly
so outer control lever tang (Figure 13a and b) is in
override position. (Refer to Operation 3 "Accelerator
Linkage", this Section.)
2.
With throttle control lever in override position and at
maximum (High Idle) stop, use master tachometer;
determine high idle speed.
3.
Engine speed on tachometer should be within
specifications, outlined in "PERFORMANCE
Figure 13a. MW Throttle Lever

DATA GUIDELINES", in this Section.
4.
Enter the observed RPM in the 1st check box.
IMPORTANT
THE HIGH IDLE SPEED IS SEALED.
RESOLVE AN INCORRECT HIGH IDLE
CONDITION BY FOLLOWING WARRANTY
PROCEDURES.
