ENGINE CRANKS BUT DOES NOT START.CAUTIONAir must be bled from the fuel system whenever any part between the fuel tankand the injector pump has been disconnected or when the system has beenemptied of fuel. Failure to follow this caution may result in damage to equipment.Step 1. Check the operation of the fuel injector pump. Disconnect the high pressure fuel lines one at a timeand crank engine. A well defined spurt of fuel should flow from each fuel line fitting.If fuel does not flow from one or all of the fuel line fittings, replace the fuel injector pump (seeparagraph 5-22).5-2
