These items are part of the end item, but they are removed andseparately packaged for transportation or shipment. AS part of the end iteml these items must be withthe end item whenever it is issued or transferred between property accounts. Illustrations are furnishedto assist you in identifying the items.b. Section III, Basic lssue Items. (NOT APPLICABLE)Thefollowingprovidesane .xplanationofCOlumnsfound inthetabuIarIisting:a Column (1) - Illustrations Number (IlluS Number). This column indicates the number ofthe illustration in which the item is shown.b. Column (2) - National Stock Number. Indicates the National stock number assigned to theitem and will be used for requisitioning purposes.c. column (3) - Description. Indicates the Federal item name and, if required, a minimumdescription to identify and locate the item. The last line for each item indicates the CAGE (in parentheses)followed by the part number.d. Column (4) - Unit of Measure (U/M). indicates The measure used in performing the actualoperational/maintenace function. This measure is expressed by a two-character alphabetical abbreviation(e.g.., ea, in pr).e.
