This section contains descriptions of operator controls and indicators for the FAWPSSsystem. Controls and indicators for the 125 GPM Pump are described in TM 5-2805-257-14 andTM 5-4320-208-12&P for the Model WPSS100 system and in TM 5-4320-309-14 for the Model 9095-91system.2-2. SYSTEM CONTROLS AND INDICATORS. This section contains desriptions of operator controls andindicators for the FAWPSS system. To ensure that the equipment. is ready for operation at all times it must beinspected (as outlined in Section II of this chapter) before operation, and after operation so that defects maybediscovered and corrected before they result in serious damage or failure of the system. The necessarypreventive maintenance checks and services will be performed before operati m. Defects discovered duringoperation of the system will be noted for future correction, to be made as soon as operation has ceased. Stopoperation immediately if a deficiency is noted during operation which would damage the equipment if operationwere continued. After operation, preventive maintenance checks and services, (PMCS) will be performed atintervals based on the normal operations of the equipment. Reduce the inten al to compensate for abnormalconditions. Report defects or unsatisfactory operating characteristics beyond the scope of the operator toorganisational maintenance at the earliest opportunity.Change 42-1
