InstallationInitial Setup:Equipment Conditions:Materials/Parts:l Water tank drained (para 2-13).l Two preformed packingsTools/Test Equipment:l General mechanic’s tool kita.REMOVAL 1.Open faucet (1) and ensure that water tank isdrained.2.Remove faucet (1) by turning counterclockwiseand pulling out straight.b.DISASSEMBLY1.Remove handle (2) and packing nut (3) with stem (7) from body (10) by turning packing nut counterclockwise.2.Remove pin (12) from handle (2) and separate stem (7) from handle.3.Remove packing nut (3), spacer ring (4), preformed packing (5), two washers (6), and pin (11) from stem (7).Discard preformed packing.4.Remove valve seat (9) and preformed packing (8) from stem (7).
