l Two preformed packings

a.
REMOVAL
1.
Open faucet (1) and ensure that water tank is
drained.
2.
Remove faucet (1) by turning counterclockwise
and pulling out straight.
b.
DISASSEMBLY
1.
Remove handle (2) and packing nut (3) with stem (7) from body (10) by turning packing nut counterclockwise.
2.
Remove pin (12) from handle (2) and separate stem (7) from handle.
3.
Remove packing nut (3), spacer ring (4), preformed packing (5), two washers (6), and pin (11) from stem (7).
Discard preformed packing.
4.
Remove valve seat (9) and preformed packing (8) from stem (7). Discard preformed packing.
