TM 10-4610-243-13 4-43. WATER TANK CHEST REPAIR - cont c. Repair. Top Cover Repair. Refer to figure 4-43. (1) Peel damaged gasket material (1) from top cover (2). (2) Clean top cover (2) gasket mounting surface with detergent and clean water. (3) Wipe dry with wiping rag. NOTE Gasket material is supplied in rolls 34 feet long. (4) Cut two lengths of gasket material (1) 13-½ feet long. (5) Cut two lengths of gasket material (1) 3-½ feet long. (6) Peel backing from gasket material (I) and press in place on top cover (2). (7) Replace top cover if damaged beyond repair. 4-122
