For GTA Container and MPC Models, torque cap screws to 16 ft-lb (21.7 Nm). For Reliance Models, torque cap screws to 15.0 ft-lb (20.34 Nm). SYMPTOM Filler/discharge assembly leaks between the closure plate and flanged adapter. MALFUNCTION Inspect for loose or missing nuts, lockwashers, threaded seal washers, and hex-head cap screws. CORRECTIVE ACTION Replace missing nuts, lockwashers, threaded seal washers, and hex-head cap screws. For GTA Container and MPC Models, torque fastening hardware to 16 ft-lb (21.7 Nm). MALFUNCTION Inspect the flanged adapter gasket for damage or wear. CORRECTIVE ACTION Remove the flanged adapter from the closure plate and replace the damaged flanged adapter gasket. MALFUNCTION Check all filler/discharge fastening hardware for cracks, damages, and wear.
