Inspection.
WARNING
Frame and axle must be firmly supported to prevent shifting of semitrailer. Shifting may cause serious
injury to personnel and damage to equipment.
(1)
Support axle and frame on each side.
(2)
Inspect brake linings for wear and corrosion. If lining surface area is worn down to within 1/16 in. (1.58
mm) of rivet heads, replace brake shoe.
