Install pipe (8) on two hose racks (11) with
two u-bolts (10) and four locknuts (9).

Install adapter (7) on pipe (8).

If removed, install chain (6) and three
rings (5) on reducer (3) and cap (2).

Install preformed packing (4) on cap (2).
(o)
If removed, install cap (2) on adapter (1).
(p)
Install cap (2) and adapter (1) on reducer
(3).
NOTE
Follow-on maintenance:

Install gage panel support (para 4-156).

Install bituminous pipe heat shields (para 4-
120).
