Vent Assembly
a.
Remove packing from around the vent assembly coupling.
b.
Remove dust cap and clamp the coupling half in place.
c.
Screw in the pipe, HAND TIGHT ONLY.
d.
Screw on the relief cap, hand tight only. Make sure the flap is free to move. The flap must be in the closed
position.
5.
Storage
a.
The spares and repair kit should be put into storage.
b.
The packing and consolidating material should be placed in the tank crate. The crate is re-bolted and
returned to base stores.
