To ensure your safety andthat of other maintenance personnel,always observe the followingprecautions:ALWAYS make sure the unit is properlygrounded.1)Secure engine compartment hatch.2) Attach ground wire from barge toWorkboat notworkboat, assuring good contactproperlyfrom clamp to metal part of workboat.grounded.3) Use Perko special key or large screw-driver to open fuel filler cap on port-side aft of cabin.4) Monitor fuel gauge on instrumentpanel at operator's station while fillingtank. Do NOT fill fuel tank full. Leaveroom for expansion of cool fuel com-ing from voids storage tank intowarmer workboat fuel tank.5) Close fuel filler cap.6) Remove ground wires and reattach tofueling stations.7) Clean fuel spills immediately.C-7
