SYSTEMS OPERATION
VLR Voltage Level Rheostat
Voltage level rheostat (VLR) takes the place of
voltage level rheostat (R2) on the generator regulator
assembly. It is used to adjust the voltage output of the
generator.
NOTE:
Make
reference
to
OPERATION
OF
GENERATOR;
REGULATOR
ADJUSTMENT.
On
generators equipped with a generator mounted control
panel, the yellow wire from voltage level rheostat (R2) to
terminal
(7)
on
the
regulator
terminal
strip
is
disconnected at terminal (7).
