REFRIGERATION SYSTEM SERVICE (CONT)
c. Charging
CAUTION
Evacuate system before charging to prevent to prevent moisture buildup. This
prevents freezing in the system.
Charge the system with reftigerant before operation.
1 Remove caps from two compressor service ports.
2 Close manifold valves.
NOTE
DO NOT tighten hose connections.
3 Connect manifold discharge hose to D (discharge) service port.
4 Connect manifold suction hose to S (suction) service port.
