Someelements to be considered in selecting a route and installation sites for TWDS are:· Whether TWDS will operate independently or as part of a large system.· TWDS assigned mission (i.e., dispensing, storing, or transferring water).· Expected length of time TWDS will be required to operate.· Elevation differences and distances TWDS will encounter along its route.2.3.1.2 Pumping Station, Storage Assembly, and Distribution Point Location Reconnaissance.Organize a ground reconnaissance prior to installation of TWDS to determine exact locations for pumpingstations, storage assemblies, and distribution points.
