OPERATOR TROUBLESHOOTING PROCEDURES
INTRODUCTION TO OPERATOR TROUBLESHOOTING
The Troubleshooting Procedures list the common malfunctions that you may find during the operation
or maintenance of the collapsible fabric water tank assembly or its components. Perform the
tests/inspections and corrective actions in the order listed in the table.
This manual cannot list all malfunctions that may occur, nor all tests or inspections and corrective
actions. If a malfunction is not listed or is not corrected by listed corrective actions, notify your
supervisor.
WARNING
Water must be drained from the tank before attempting to replace components, or
injury to personnel could result.
TROUBLESHOOTING PROCEDURE
TANK
SYMPTOM
Tank leaks.
MALFUNCTION
Check the water tank for cuts, tears, or punctures.
CORRECTIVE ACTION
Perform emergency repairs using wood plugs or sealing clamps (WP
0006 00). If the leak cannot be repaired, notify unit maintenance.

FILLER/DISCHARGE VALVE ASSEMBLY
SYMPTOM
Tank body leaks at pipe clamp.
MALFUNCTION
Check for loose or missing bolts on clamping plate.
CORRECTIVE ACTION
Notify unit maintenance.
