Section 1 INTRODUCTION The engine data contained in this manual is to be used as guidelines for analyzing basic engine performance of INTERNATIONAL® ON-HIGHWAY and OEM Diesel Engines. If data obtained is NOT within the guidelines shown on the "PERFORMANCE DATA GUIDELINE" sheets located in the rear of each section, "DIAGNOSTIC ANALYSIS" in Section 2 must be followed to determine the problem source before removal of any functional component, such as nozzles, injection pump or turbocharger, etc. CGES-240-4 Printed in United States of America Page 1
