Torque converter gets hot.

Replace temperature gauge.

Operation of the machine is not correct. It has a
constant overload.

Adjust the operation of the machine as
necessary to reduce the overload.

Core of oil cooler is not completely open.
a.
Repair or replace oil cooler.

Not enough oil goes to the oil cooler.
a.
Converter oil has leakage through the
bearing for the oil pump gear and into the
transmission.
b.
Converter oil has leakage through seal
rings (near the bearing on the output shaft
of the torque converter) and into the
transmission.
c.
The supply of oil to the torque converter is
low.
1.
Replace bearing for the oil pump
gear.
2.
Replace seal rings.
3.
Check oil level, adjust as needed.
5.
Ratio valve does not operate correctly.
a.
Repair or replace ratio valve.
6.
Mechanical failure in the torque converter.
a.
Repair
