STEERING CYLINDERS
REMOVE STEERING CYLINDERS
1.
Disconnect hose assemblies (1) and (2) from
the steering cylinder.
2.
Remove the bolts and plate (3) from the
steering link assemblies.
3.
Remove the fitting from the bottom of shaft (5).
Use a hammer and soft punch to remove the
shaft from the top of the link assemblies to
disconnect rod (4).
4.
Fasten a hoist to steering cylinder assembly (8).
5.
Remove bolts (6) and plate (7). Remove bolts
and plate (9). Use a hammer and soft punch to
remove the shaft from the draft frame.
6.
Remove steering cylinder assembly (8) and
shims from the machine. The weight of the
cylinder assembly is 120 lb. (54 kg).
