NOTE
Place suitable container with a 5 qt
(4.7 liters) capacity under filter to
catch spilling oil.

Removal Remove oil filter (1) and gasket (2)
from filter head (3).
b.
Installation.
(1)
Fill oil filter (1) with engine oil.
(2)
Apply light film of engine oil on gasket (2).
(3)
Install oil filter (1). After oil filter makes
contact with filter head (3), turn oil filter 3/4
of a turn.
NOTE
Follow-on
maintenance:
Check
engine oil level and close rear engine
panel (para 3-6).
