Wheels chocked.
Suitable container (38 gal [144 l] capacity)
Para 2-10
Extension jack lowered.

Drain.
WARNING
·
Fuel is very flammable and can explode easily. To avoid serious injury or
death, keep fuel away from open fire and keep fire extinguisher within easy
reach when working with fuel. Do not work on fuel system when engine is hot.
Fuel can be ignited by hot engine. When working with fuel, post signs that
read NO SMOKING WITHIN 50 FEET (15 m) of vehicle.

Fuel is very is slippery and can cause falls. To avoid injury, wipe up spilled
fuel with rags.
NOTE
Use a suitable container with 38 gal (144 l) capacity.

Raise lever on fuel drain valve (1) as shown. Lower lever after fuel draining stops.
(2)
Remove plug (2) from fuel tank (3) to drain remaining fuel.
(3)
Install plug (2) in fuel tank (3). Dispose of fuel in accordance with local regulations.
