Removal.
WARNING
Fuel is very flammable and can
explode easily. To avoid serious
injury or death, keep fuel away from
open fire and keep fire extinguisher
within easy reach when working with
fuel. Do not work on fuel system
when engine is hot. Fuel can be
ignited by hot engine. When working
with fuel, post signs that read NO
SMOKING WITHIN 50 FEET (15 m) of
vehicle.

Remove four nuts (1), lockwashers (2),
clips (3), and wire (4) from main frame (5).
Discard lockwashers.
(2)
Remove wire (4) from five clips (3).
(3)
Remove two nuts (6), screw (7), three
clips (8), and wire (4) from fuel tank (9).
(4)
Remove wire (4) from three clips (8).
(5)
Disconnect boot (10) from sensor post
(11).
(6)
Remove nut (12), lockwasher (13), and
wire (4) from fuel tank (9). Discard
lockwasher.
(7)
If damaged, remove boot (10) from wire
(4).
