4-130. WINCH REPLACEMENT/REPAIR (CONT).
NOTE
Note position of spring and ratchet
pawl to aid in assembly.

Remove nut (13), screw (14), ratchet pawl (15),
spacer (16), lockwasher (17), and spring (18)
from frame half (10). Discard lockwasher.

Remove bushing (19) from frame half (10).
(6)
Remove bushing (19) from other frame half (9).
(7)
Remove brake disc (11), friction disc (20),
ratchet gear (21), and friction gasket (22) from
shaft (4). Discard friction gasket (22) if
damaged.

Remove drum (12) from shaft (4).
(9)
Remove two nuts (23), lockwashers (24), screws
(25), clamp (26), and cable (27) from drum (12).
Discard lockwashers.
