a. Clean all components with clean water and detergent.
b. Rinse components in clean water and dry with wiping rag.
a. Inspect coupling halves (4 and 15), dust plug (8), and dust cap (12) for cracks.
b. Inspect maincase (10) for cracks and corrosion.
c. Inspect cover assembly (2) for cracks, damage, and corrosion.

Position gasket (18) on maincase (10).
Lower cover assembly (2) and attached parts onto maincase (10).
Install ten bolts (1).
Position gasket (16) and coupling half (15) on maincase (10).
Install eight screws (14) and lock nuts (17).
NOTE
Ensure gasket is fully seated in groove of dust cap.
Install gasket (11) in dust cap (12).
Connect dust cap (12) to coupling half (15) with ring (13).
Position gsket (3) and coupling half(4) on maincase (10).
Install eight screws (5) and lock nuts (9).
Connect dust plug (8) to coupling half(4) with ring (7).
NOTE
Ensure gasket is fully seated in groove of coupling half.
Install gasket (6) in coupling half (4).
Connect water meter to water system.
