CLASS IV
Leaks from under the tank. These will make their presence felt by:-
(i)
Dampness of the ground around the tank.
(ii)
Volume of water in the tank less than it should be.
CAUTION
Equipment operation is allowable with minor
leaks, class I or II. If they are present have
them checked at regular intervals.
Class III leaks on the top and sides of the tank
body should be repaired immediately.
Class III leaks on the assemblies and class IV
on the body should be repaired as soon as the
equipment can be taken out of service.
