GENERAL SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS:
Repair in a clean, well-ventilated area.
Wash out drum body interior after repairing
NOTE
PRELIMINARY CONDITION: Drum disassembled (para 5-4).
EXTERIOR REPAIR:
WARNING
Toluene used for cleaning drum body repair areas Is extremely flammable and is potentially dangerous to
personnel and property. Keep container closed. Use in a well-ventilated area as the fumes are dang-
erous if inhaled. Avoid repeated and prolonged skin contact. Flash point of Toluene is 45 F (7.22 C).
CAUTION
Holes in the drum body larger than 5 inches across in any one direction cannot be repaired. Replace the
drum body.
