DISASSEMBLY & REASSEMBLY
1.
Place the mainshaft subassembly on a bench.
2.
Use a suitable puller to remove the output
bearing.
3.
This method insures safe removal without
bearing damage.
4.
Remove the 1st-reverse clutch collar.

CAUTION:

Due to the synchronizers design, do not place a
puller on it in an attempt to remove the input
pocket bearing.
6.
One of these methods should be used to remove
the pocket bearing from the mainshaft pilot
diameter.
