TM 5-3825-229-14&P 3-8. PUMP INTAKE STRAINER THIS TASK COVERS: INITIAL SETUP: Servicing Equipment Conditions: Engine shut down. Suction and fill valves closed (valve handles pointing down). a. Remove suction port cap and pull intake strainer from suction pipe. b. Clean intake strainer and inspect for damage. If strainer is damaged it must be replaced. c.
