TM 5-3895-370-14&P 4-33. INTAKE COVER REPLACEMENT. This task covers: a. Removal b. Installation INITIAL SETUP Tools Equipment Condition Tool kit, general mechanic's: automotive TM or Para Condition Description Wheels chocked. Shop equipment, automotive maintenance and Para 2-10 Extension jack lowered. repair: organizational maintenance supplemental Para 3-6 Front engine panel no. 1, less power removed. Para 4-41 Injector fuel lines Materials/Parts removed. Sealant, pipe thread (item 17, Appendix E) Gasket, cover a. Removal. (1) Loosen two clamps (1) and remove intake pipe (2) from intake cover (3). (2) Remove 10 screws (4), two clamps (5), and engine wire harness (6) from intake cover (3). (3) Remove intake cover (3) and gasket (7) from cylinder head (8). Discard gasket. 4-67
