INSTALLATION OF SAS-1402 (Two Plate)
Replace the pilot bearing. The bearing must have a
press fit.
Place the front disc In the engine housing with the side
marked FLYWHEEL SIDE to the flywheel.
Install two guide studs, 3/8" x 16 thread, 3" long at the 11
and 1 o’clock positions.
Install the strap drive intermediate plate over the guide
studs. The four through holes at the drive straps are the
pilot holes for the adapter ring. Make sure the side
marked FLYWHEEL SIDE faces the flywheel (Drive
Straps must Face Pressure Plate) Raise the front disc
to tit Into the intermediate plate opening
