STAMPED ANGLE SPRING CLUTCHInstall the rear disc by inserting the aligning tool throughboth splines and Into the pilot bearing. Make sure therear disc marked Pressure Plate Side faces thepressure plate.Install and hand tighten the cap screws and lockwashersaccording to the sequence shown, then tighten to 35-40lbs ft.NOTE: Grade 8 cap screws should be usedReplace the two guide studs with two cap screws.Tighten the cap screws to 35-40 lbs. ftWith the aligning tool still in place, carefully slide theclutch assembly over the aligning tool. Align the lockstrap or self-adjuster with the access hole in the bellhousing.Slide the clutch assembly over the guide studs andagainst the spacer ring.Remove the two wooden blocks from between therelease bearing housing and flywheel ring.
