S-SERIES AIR CONDITIONING - HEATER, SYSTEM CONTROL CABLE REPLACEMENT - HEATER ONLY Removal and Installation 1. Disconnect battery ground cable. 2. Remove cover from right side of instrument panel. 3. Remove control assembly mounting screws and trim plate. Pull control assembly away from instrument panel (Figure 24). 4. Remove screw retaining cable flag to bracket (Figure 24).
