Use of 3-inch Connectors.
(1)
To connect hoses with 3-inch connectors
(1), proceed as follows:
(a)
Connect hose ends (2 and 3) to 3-
inch connector (1).
WARNING
System is under extreme pressure
and high temperature. Ensure that
locking levers are fully engaged and
secured with the locking wire or
severe injury or death to personnel
may occur.
(b)
Close four locking levers (4) on hose
ends (2 and 3).
NOTE
Needle-nose pliers may be necessary
to connect locking ring.
(c)
Insert locking rings (5) through each
locking lever (4) on hose ends (2
and 3).
