TM 5-3895-370-14&P 5-52. COUPLING AND TIMING GEAR REPLACEMENT. This task covers: a. Removal b. Removal. (1) Remove coupling (1) and spider (2) from bituminous pump shaft (3). (2) Loosen setscrew (4) and remove coupling (5) from bituminous pump shaft (3). (3) Loosen setscrew (6) and remove timing gear (7) from bituminous pump shaft (3). b. Installation. NOTE Ensure to aline timing gear teeth with sensor. (1) Install timing gear (7) on bituminous pump shaft (3). Tighten setscrew (6). (2) Install coupling (5) on bituminous pump shaft (3). Tighten setscrew (4). (3) Install spider (2) and coupling (1) on bituminous pump shaft (3). NOTE Follow-on maintenance: Install hydraulic motor (para 5-48). END OF TASK 5-188
