NOZZLE DISTRIBUTION ASSY, REPLACEMENT. (Cont’d.)
REMOVAL
a.
Remove dust plug (9) and retaining ring (10) from female quick-disconnect reducer (2).
b.
Remove damaged female quick-disconnect reducer (2) from swivel (3).
c.
Remove all tape residue from swivel (3).
d.
Remove damaged swivel (3) from nozzle body (4), using wrench.
e.
Remove all tape residue from nozzle body (4) and threaded end of female quick-disconnect reducer (2).
f.
Unscrew female quick-disconnect and reducer (2) from swivel (3).
INSPECTION AND CLEANING
a.
Wash the valve assy in a mild soap and water solution. Rinse in clean water and dry with a clean lint-free cloth.
b.
Inspect for missing gasket (1).
c.
Inspect for missing protective cap (5) chain (6) or spring (7)
d.
Inspect control handle (8), female quick-disconnect reducer (2). or swivel (3).
Change 8 4-13
