(Cont’d.)CLEANING AND INSPECTIONDry-cleaning solvent, P-D-680, used to clean parts is potentiallydangerous to personnel and property. Avoid inhalation of fumes andrepeated or prolonged skin exposure. Wash exposed skin thoroughlywith soap and water. Use in well ventilated area away from openflame or excessive heat. Flash point is 100oF (38°C).a. Wash all parts in cleaning solvent P-D-680 to remove all dirt andforeign matter. Dry with clean lint freecloth.b. Inspect nozzle stand assy in accordance with PMCS.c. Using proper tools, straighten any bent legs or brackets. Weld anyminor cracks or breaks that were detected during inspection. Replaceany leg or bracket that is damaged beyond repair.d. If either chain is damaged, cut a new one approximately 10-inches inlength from bulk chain (P/N RRC-271).e. Replace any remaining parts that are damaged or defective.4-16
