TM 5-5430-211-13 & P 3-19 4 INCH GATE VALVE ASSEMBLY - CONTINUED ITEM ACTION REMARKS INSTALLATION 1. Gate Valve/female Align the holes in the female coupling half. coupling half (3), gasket (5) and the gate valve (2). Hold the nut (9) and lock washer (8) in place against the gate valve. Thread through the bolt (6) with washer (7). Turn the bolt into the nut a few turns only. Replace the other bolts, washers and nuts. Tighten all bolts finger tight. Tighten the nuts using the torque wrench to 150 inch lbs. 3-65
