STARTER REPLACEMENT (CONT)
CAUTION
To prevent damage to cylinder shield and air guide cover, remove air guide
cover slowly.
3 Remove two bolts from air guide cover. Remove air guide cover.
To prevent electric shock, make sure power is disconnected from 12/24 VOLT
INPUT FOR STARTING connection before removing cable nut.
4 Remove cable nut and internal toothed washer from starter.
5 Remove cable from starter.
Inside mounting bolt cannot be removed before starter is removed from en-
gine.
6 Loosen inside mounting bolt.
