All supporting members(chains and cables) should be parallel to each otherand as near perpendicular as possible to the top ofthe object being lifted.Remove Valves as follows:1.Remove valves (1, Fig.14) with valve springcompressor tool.a.Compress valve springs (3).b.Remove spring retainer locks (6).c.Remove rotators (5) and oil shields(4).d.Allow valve to drop out of guide.e.If valve DOES NOT drop out, inspect valvestem for burrs.
