Section III DIRECT MAINTENANCE 5 - 5 . VALVE ASSY, REPAIR a. b. c. d. e. f. Install valve in bench vice with protective pads. Using a 7/16'' wrench remove nut (l), Iockwasher (2) and handle (3) from gland nut (4). Remove gland nut (4) from body (8). Remove stem (5), ring (6) and packing (7). Using two 1/2'' wrenches, loosen and remove four nuts (10) lockwashers (11) and bolts (9). Remove two end fittings (12) from body (8). Remove two body gaskets (13) ball (15) and two seats (14) from body (8). Remove stop pin (16) if required. TM 5-4320-301-13&P TM 08936A-13&P/1 PROCEDURES 5 - 3
