Conditions General Mechanics 4-56 Radiator shroud and radiator removed Tool Kit 4-57 Fan and fan belt removed Pulley Puller a. Removal. (1) Remove three plastic plugs (1). Two of these plugs must be opposite each other. NOTE Puller installs into two tapped holes opposite each other on pulley. Third hole is for 1/4" diameter metal rod used to lock crankshaft. (2) Insert 1/4" dia. metal rod into third hole and rotate engine counterclockwise until rod catches block and locks crank. (3) Loosen pulley retaining capscrew (2). 5-22
