KIDDE HALON 1301 SYSTEMS The Kidde Systems consist of a detection network (a variety of sensors including those capable of detecting incipient products of combustion which occur prior to visible smoke), manual or automatic control heads (lever, cable, pneumatic or electrical), piping network, cylinders (varying capacities) and nozzles (fan type-split or straight). When a single agent supply source is used to protect multiple hazards, a direction valve routes the agent to whichever hazard is afire. TOTAL FLOODING SYSTEMS Total Flooding Systems extinguish fires by rapidly filling an enclosed volume with enough Halon 1301 to create an atmosphere that is incapable of supporting combustion.
