SERVICE MANUALREMOVEIf either windshield or weatherseal must bereplaced, procedure is as follows:1.Remove washer hose from fittings on top ofcowl.2.Remove cap nut and detach windshield wiperarms (Fig. 30).Fig. 30. See Fig. 32for details of weatherseal.4.If windshield is two piece type remove inner andouter division bars and seals (Fig. 33).Fig. 31. Be careful during this operation sinceheavy pressure at any one point can lead toglass breakage.6.Lift glass from opening and peel weathersealfrom fence (weld flange).Fig. 32. Position splice jointof seal ends at centerline of cab and on lowerflange.3.Working from outside the cab, place windshieldin channel of weatherseal, starting at lower edgeof opening.4.For two piece type windshield install inner .andouter division bars and seals.
