Wheninstalling, apply small dab of grease to floatingblock to hold hollow end up and note that floatingblock enters floating lever. Operate control leverto facilitate installation. Secure cover with sixcover screws.11.Install guide bolt in rear of governor cover. ApplyLoctite hydraulic sealant compound to threadsbefore installing.12.If governor control lever and/or accelerator leverassembly were removed, reinstall at this time asfollows:a.Install woodruff key and governor controllever on shaft and tighten securely.b.Install accelerator lever assembly on shaft(Figure 16) and tighten securely.IMPORTANTACCELERATOR LEVER CAN BEINSTALLED IN ANY POSITION ANDCAN BE REMOVED ANDREINSTALLED AT ANY TIME.GOVERNOR CONTROL LEVER, ONCEHIGH SPEED SCREW HAS BEEN SET,SHOULD NEVER BE REMOVED ANDREINSTALLED WITHOUTRECHECKING HIGH IDLE SPEED.CGES-375Printed in United States of AmericaPage 6
