SERVICE MANUALIMPORTANTBe careful when reinstalling door glass,door glass regulator and related parts toavoid glass breakage. Door ’glass innerand outer seals, channel seals and glassmounting fasteners have been de-signed to protect glass through ruggedoperating conditions. Make sure thereassembly of these parts will maintainthis same glass protection.INSTALLCab door glass regulator installation isaccomplished by reversing the foregoing removalprocedure. See Fig. 19 for door internal componentdetails.LUBRICATELubricate cab door glass regulator gear teeth,arm pin and slide at installation. See Lubrication.DOOR LATCH ASSEMBLY AND REMOTECONTROLThe cab door latch assembly (Figs. 19 and 20)used with this door features positive no- rattle latch jawswhich engage with striker pin on cab lock pillar. Latchassembly mounts to a small opening in edge of door andconnects to remote control, lock cylinder and lock knobby relay control rods.REMOVE1.Remove door hardware, trim and access door(same as for removing door glass).2.Remove lock knob from relay control rod throughwindow frame.3.Unfasten rod end clips and remove relay controlrods from remote control assembly and fromlock cylinder assembly. Opposite ends of thethree relay control rods can remain attached tolatch assembly.Fig. 20.
